Below is a sample of past projects that showcase my organizational, research, and visualization skills. I'm continuing to develop in the fields of service design and user research.
Civic Tech Landscape Review & Toolkit
Program Manager
I served as the program manager for the Civic Data Challenge, a national competition to turn the raw data of civic health into applications and visualizations that communities can use to improve their civic health. In addition to recruiting participants and sponsors, I led a restructuring of the program to better ensure that the products created could actually be used by their target audiences. I collaborated with my team to compile our lessons learned in a Toolkit and Landscape Review for other nonprofit organizations to use.
Engaging Student Veterans on Campus:
A Theory & Sample Program
Team Leader/Researcher
We created a theory and program, based on current research, to address low levels of student veteran engagement on campus. As team leader, I coordinated our workflow, developed our research plan, and presented our work at NASPA's Symposium on Military Connected Students.
